Download SentryEdit for Windows
This is the official SentryEdit download and the original build. The setup program is about 34 MB, and a portable single .exe of about 25 MB also exists. Always compare the SHA-256 checksum before you run it.
- Download the installer from this page.
- Compare its SHA-256 checksum with the published manifest, using the certutil command below.
- Run setup. If Windows SmartScreen warns you, choose More info and then Run anyway, but only after the checksum matches.
- Open SentryEdit, connect a model and choose your UEFN project folder as the working folder.
You do not need an account to run SentryEdit. A cloud AI provider may charge separately for its model, while a model on your PC or the built-in model needs no provider account.
System requirements
SentryEdit runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11, 64-bit (x64). The interface comes in 13 languages. Keep your UEFN project folder on the same PC, because the agent works with files on that machine.
Updates
When a new version is ready, the app shows an Update button. Press it, wait for the update to finish and carry on with your project. The current version is 2.9.22.
Check your download
certutil -hashfile "C:\\Users\\you\\Downloads\\<downloaded file>.exe" SHA256Run this command in a terminal, replacing the path with your file. The installer is not code-signed yet, so the checksum must match the published manifest exactly.
